2021 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

Our Signature Pinot Noir fruits came from Huichica Vineyards in Los Carneros and Vineyard eleven in the Russian River and represent the ultra-premium quality of the Sonoma coast grapes. The nose is a balanced combination of floral aromatics and red fruit characters. Bright acidity is supported by silky tannin and a rich finish. Juicy layers of cherry, raspberries, pomegranate, and strawberry flavors with a hint of herbal and earthiness in the long-lasting aftertaste. 2021 was an excellent vintage that produced exceptional and beautiful grapes. The drought conditions provide the wine with an intense flavor while still showcasing the elegance in your glass.

The wine was aged in 25% new french oak, 75% neutral french oak, and puncheons for 11 months. It is completely sugar and malic acid dry. The Pinot Noir is Clone 828 and Pommard. 828 brings the spicy, earthy characters, and the Pommard brings the round, rich, dark fruits. It also has some stone fruit components in the finish.
