2021 Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley

Our 2021 Sauvignon Blanc opens with an enticing bouquet of ripe tropical fruit and explosive florality; notes of flowers, guava, honeydew melon, and citrus burst from the glass. The palate reveals an incredibly silky texture that flows to flavors of ripe citrus and melon, along with a beam of salinity, vanilla, and clove. Everything is balanced by a refreshing line of acidity and a gentle phenolic structure. This is a luxurious Sauvignon Blanc that is graceful and powerful at the same time.

2021 was one of the earliest vintages ever for Napa. The warm growing season was without any major weather events which allowed us to pick on our own preferred schedule. The result is a crop of fruit with small berries that are super concentrated and produce wines with remarkable intensity. While yields were significantly down, the quality is truly exceptional.
