2013 Chardonnay Benedictine, Carneros

The 2013 vintage is a “BIG” California style Chardonnay. The wine opens with aromas of creamy citrus, graham cracker, and an abundance of toasted oak. The palate is complex with layers of flavors including; lemon curd, granny smith apple, butterscotch, and oak. The lingering finish is lush and memorable. Aged in a combination of American and Russian oak barrels.
