2012 Petite Sirah Old Vine, Contra Costa

This wine boasts aromatics of chocolate, coffee, espresso, huckleberry, violet, and blue berry.  Blueberry translates from the nose and is the dominant fruit character on the palate. The fruit balances with the tannins nicely to create a smooth wine with no lack of structure. The Trinitas Old Vine Petite Sirah continues to deliver big flavor and body in a silky and round fashion.
